Stock Picks for 5/27

Good Evening everybody. I AM FINALLY DONE WITH FINALS! Which means I’m Back! I will be incorporating a new theme in my daily posts. I will post scanner pick ups under ” stocks to add on your watch list” and stocks that I personally buy in ” stock picks”. Hopefully this new addition serves wonders to our subscribers.

Tomorrows Picks are EEGI, MYEC.

EEGI- EEGI is currently a shell company. For those that do not know what a shell company is, A shell company is basically A corporation without active business operations or significant assets. Shell corporations are not necessarily illegal or illegitimate, as they often serve an important for potential startups. Additionally, shell corporations can act as a tax avoidance for legitimate businesses – Investopedia. EEGI is currently rumored to be bought out within the next week or so and based on the the buzz that EEGI is getting from IHUB it is not out of the question for EEGI to have a MONA like run.

MYEC has been on our “long term stocks” list for quite some time.A few members of our team rode MYEC from .0090 to a high or .008.Therefore MYEC is more of an entry point alert. For the long run, we feel that MYEC has a great future backed up by sound fundamentals starting with their CEO Ed Stars. I am the lone investor on the team that has not opened a position in MYEC. Part of the reason was that I did not like MYEC’s growth. It was way “overbought”, the deviation between the 50,200 Day MA was too great. However on Friday, I saw the perfect entry for MYEC. Lets start with support. MYEC has shown strong support at .025 dating back to mid March.  The 50 day MA for MYEC is .0431 and the 200 Ma for MYEC is .0146. MYEC’s current price (.0327) is right in between the 2 moving averages. Earlier I mentioned that I do not like stocks that deviate too far from the 50,200 MA, therefore MYEC offers a strong entry point at .0327 as the price is right in between the 2 moving averages.

News On Our Long Term Stocks

HEMP EARNINGS Hemp, Inc. (HEMP) First Quarter Sets Company Revenue Record– HEMP soared 30% after the company released their earnings for 2013. To read our analysis on HEMP earnings click here.

*UPDATE ON PHOT, PHOT RELEASED FROM SUSPENSION AS SHARES TUMBLE OVER 70%! * PHOT SUSPENSION –  The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission suspends trading of GrowLife, Inc. (PHOT). The SEC release states, “The Commission temporarily suspended trading in the securities of PHOT because of questions that have been raised about the accuracy and adequacy of information in the marketplace and potentially manipulative transactions in PHOT’s common stock.“ To read our detailed analysis and what this means for PHOT, click here . The SEC might have suspended trading for PHOT but FITX took a beating amid news of the suspension. It is because FITX has a partnership with PHOT and who knows if the issues from PHOT run deeper into FITX ( FITX was down 18% at one point during the day) .

MANNKIND BIOPHARM WATCH : Breaking news out of MNKD due to the FDA extending its Afrezza PDUFA date to July 15. Afrezza’s original PDUFA date was scheduled for April 15. For the short term it means that the hype is going to die down along with a mediocre volume which will drive down the price as it did today. It dropped 8% after it was announced that the PDUFA date was being postponed until July 15 (18% drop during premarket hours). This has no implications on the possibility of the drug getting approved it is still highly likely that the FDA will approve Afrezza in the coming months. So until we start nearing the PDUFA date don’t expect anything huge out of MNKD. Long term wise this is a good stock short term not so much as the risks heavily outweigh reward. In short MNKD will move out of the picture in the stocks we cover mainly because we were interested in MNKD for it’s AdCom and PDUFA.

As For Our Long Term Picks

( STOCK TO STAY AWAY FROM ) KING IPO- OVERPRICED !!! KING’s IPO was a joke ( IPO pricing of 22$)  in my opinion it had one legitimate game ( one hit wonder ) . ZNGA has had more success yet they are only priced at 4-5 $.  THEY need more success/revenue to back up their value we have yet to seen a glimpse of their financials ( signals instability ) .  Great Candidate for PUT OPTIONS as the company has done nothing to warrant their current value.

LONG TERM WATCH LIST! (  Changes once every 1-2 weeks )
LONG TERM STOCKS- CMG, TRMR, FNMA, FMCC, MA, YHOO, NFLX GOLD, BRK-B, NKE, NOW, ICLD, GNTX, XOM.TSLA.CTIC, VZ, PLUG FNMA TSLA

– ARTX As I mentioned before I sold ARTX during the selloff post earnings. This stock still has a bright future therefore I will wait for the selloff to finish and then I will assess and most likely re-enter with a position on ARTX.
