Market Recap 3-10-14 & Stock Picks 3-11

Before we start heres a great motivational video.. one of my personal favorites! To View Click Here

FCEL has its earnings during after hours and boy did it make investors happy. Full details of FCEL’s earnings can be in this link. When I initially got my hands on FCEL’s ER I was mildly disappointed because they did not look good on paper but when you look into the ER in depth you can see why investors responded well. The momentum that the fuel cell industry has gained during the last week or 2 does not hurt either.

BLDP & PLUG would be considered sister stocks to FCEL. All 3 companies specialize in alternative energy which is no surprise to see a correlation between their stocks. For example if FCEL had good earnings, it would have a positive on BLDP, PLUG… If FCEL had bad earningsit would be negative for PLUG,BLDP. FOR this reason alone I will be waiting till PLUG’s earnings before I invest in FCEL, BLDP. ( I prefer FCEL, younger company, less expectations, more room for growth. Anyone who bought PLUG back in late January should have profits from 190-200%. =]
